About the Founders
Susie Davies-Splitter is a music educator, musician and composer who spent the last two years working as a music lecturer at Australian Catholic University (ACU) in Melbourne and during that time, began the 'Hearts in Harmony' programs as her community engagement.
Phil Splitter is an award winning composer, writer, performer and presenter as well as a talented musician and entertainer.
'Hearts in Harmony community music Inc' has received grants from the City of Yarra, Abigroup Construction company, Federation Square and in January this year Susie received the ACU national staff award for community engagement. The 'Hearts in Harmony' community music' not for profit organisation was launched at BMW Edge in Federation Square on the 22nd April, 2012.
Susie and Phil's passion is to help cultivate healthy communities and each individual's potential to be creative and compassionate human beings through music and the arts.
